  • Mix all ingredients except chicken. Reserve 1/3 cup Miracle Whip mixture; refrigerate until ready to use. Pour remaining Miracle Whip mixture over chicken in shallow dish; turn to coat both sides of each piece. Refrigerate 2 hours.
  • Heat greased barbecue for indirect grilling: Light one side of barbecue, leaving other side unlit. Close lid; heat barbecue to 350ºF. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
  • Grill chicken 18 to 20 min. or until done (170ºF) monitoring for consistent grill temperature, turning after 10 min. and brushing occasionally with the reserved Miracle Whip mixture.

Make Ahead

Chicken can be marinated up to 24 hours before grilling. This longer marinating time will help boost the flavour of the grilled chicken.

If using a larger chicken, increase the grilling time as needed until chicken is done.

Very disappointing! While the marinade sounded great, when all was said and done, the chicken was bland. As well, there is no way indirect grilling at 350' for the 18-20 minutes suggested was sufficient to cook the chicken. at the 10 minute mark, it was barely warmed through. We gave up with the indirect method, and went to direct heat.
