I don't care for zucchini so I used asparagus spears and cut them in half. I also added some whole mushrooms. This dish is requested often and is a summertime favourite on the BBQ. Have also used good olive oil and other seasonings instead of the dressing. Just toss toss the veggies before grilling. Scrumptious no matter how you choose to do it!

I also add mushrooms and a little garlic to zing it up. Recipe translates well in the winter when I saute veggies and add peas and mushrooms.

I like this but I add mushrooms and onions and instead of the Zesty Italian dressing, I use Italian seasoning, olive oil and garlic. Yummm!

I made this recipe for our last barbecue party but added slightly more of the dressing for flavour and everyone there loved it.I would definitely make it again.

Needs a different salad dressing. No one in our family of 5 liked it.

Very quick and easy, a tasty side dish to have with your BBQ.

I have been making my veggies like this for yrs. now & everybody loves them. It's easy & so packed with flavor - you have to try it!

07/19/2007

I do this both in the oven and on the BBQ..depending on the temperature outdoors! I like a more zingy flavoured dressing, something like a roasted red pepper, or something similar.

07/19/2007

Great receipe. I add sweet onions and mushrooms for variety. Tossing vegetables in dressing before cooking helps them to absorb the flavour. Everyone loves this dish and the kids ASK for more vegetables!

This recipe is amazing. It is so easy to make and tastes great! We added whole mushrooms and red onion to to mix.

07/25/2006

I have been making this for years before I ever saw it on here. I make this at least 3-5 times a week as I know I will get all my daily vegetables this way, and I use just about every other type of salad dressing as well. From sundried tomato, to greek with feta and oregano to even Kraft Free Honey Dijon. Garlic and onions are great thrown in as well.

This vegetable dish was delicious. It was a big hit with the guests at our BBQ.

07/19/2006

Excellent and easy way to make vegetables. Try using Sun Dried Tomato and Oregeno Dressing -- awesome.

07/19/2006

I really enjoy grilling vegetables. I never thought of tossing them around with the Kraft dressing. Boy! It was awesome! I liked it so much that I didn't need a main dish because I made that my main dish! Everyone wanted to know what my secret was that made them taste better than their usual grilled veggies. sshhh

I have been making these veggies for years and they are my family's favourite. Adding mushrooms, zuchini, eggplant and cauliflower are also terrific.

07/18/2006

Thanks to previous reader I was able to make this recipe using my oven (as I do not own or could not have BBQ in my apartment). I used Asian Sesame dressing and it was delicious.

07/18/2006

These veggies are absolutely addictive....have made them many times and have also used Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing instead of the Zesty Italian for a bit of a change. Both are great!!

07/18/2006

We have done the grilled veggies using Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing. Zucchini, eggplant, potaoes as well as peppers. Excellent!! Especially good with roasted or barbecued chicken. Zoredia

I have been grilling veggies for years. They are always a hit. Try coating them before grilling with balsamic vingrette dressing an a squirt of lemon juice. Add mushrooms and large pieces of onion with the peppers!

07/18/2006

Excellent dish. Tried it with a twist. Also used mushrooms and included orange peppers too. Used a sweet sauce like Teryaki and Garlic or Honey and Garlic. Can make own or use pre-made. Did the dish in the oven at about 400F for about 20 minutes. We know do this dish about once a week.

07/10/2006

Delicious-I don't think we will skewer a veggie again -thanks so much!
