  • Cook bacon in large frypan on medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until crisp, stirring occasionally. Drain bacon and set it aside. Add onion and garlic to the frypan; cook and stir 2 minutes.
  • Stir in spinach. Reduce heat to medium; cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes; cook an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
  • Toss cooked pasta with sauce; sprinkle with cheese and reserved bacon.


Substitute 1 can (19 fl oz / 540 mL) pasta sauce for the diced tomatoes.

    My husband liked this but I found it rather bland... It was a good way to use up the spinach and bacon I had in the fridge, though!

    A great twist on a old standard meal. I substituted Spaghetti sauce instead of tomatoes and this is now one of my favorite pasta dishes...and I make it myself!!
