Raspberries are thimble shaped with soft, slightly furry appearance, and a tart-sweet flavour.

  • Raspberries are available all year, but they are at their peak June through September

  • The most common variety is the red raspberry. However, they can be found in a range of colours - yellow, orange, amber, white, and black.

  • Look for berries that are full and round, not flattened or bruised.
  • Avoid raspberries containers marked with juice stains (indicates crushed berries).

  • Remove any berries with mould to avoid spreading it to the other berries.
  • Place berries in the refrigerator immediately. The cold temperature prolongs their freshness and quality.
  • Raspberries can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Beyond this point, their quality begins to deteriorate.

  • Wash the berries rapidly and gently, and use them immediately.

  • Combine multiple colours of raspberries and top with a dollop of Cool Whip Topping for an elegant and quick dessert.
  • This summer keep your Crystal Light Raspberry Ice Low Calorie Drink Mix from watering down by freezing some of it in ice cube trays. For an added garnish, place one clean raspberry in each ice cube compartment before filling. The frozen gem will inform your guests before tasting, the flavour of the beverage.
