Collect a bundle of sticks and twigs, along with colourful leaves, fall flowers, pine cones, acorns and anything else you think might make interesting fall decorations. With craft glue, stick decorations to the end of each stick, making "stick flowers". Place them in an appropriately sized vase, and you've got yourself a fall bouquet that will last longer than the season.
Spend some time outside gathering leaves. Cover your work surface with newspapers and sprinkle a small amount of crayon shavings on a piece of waxed paper. Arrange leaves on top. Sprinkle more crayon shavings and cover with another piece of wax paper. Place a piece of newspaper on top and iron with a warm iron until crayon shavings melt. Trim and hang in the window.
